Review of Fruitvale Station (2013) by Jeff C — 17 May 2014
This movie made me realize that as a white woman I will never know the pain this young man went through for simply being black. That to me isn't comforting but rather haunting. Based on a true story.
How dearly my heart goes out to his mom, gf and most importantly his daughter. This movie is amazingly filmed. So hard to watch but it does present a heavy dose of reality and all its struggles.
