Review of Day Night Day Night (2006) by Gabriel M — 02 Nov 2007
The first minimalist terrorism movie, this films entire 90 minutes is about detail and character nuance. Yes, it is slow. Less patient viewers might even call it boring and yet I was rivted by economy of the filmmaking and the bold statements it was making.
Terrorism. Feminism. Fear of failure and the consequence of action. This film is pretty loud without having to say much at all.
