Review of Coffy (1973) by Riley H — 13 Aug 2007
The female version of Shaft. She is sexy, her weapon of choice is a shotgun, and her mission is revenge on just about every male that ever messed with her. Great production values for a supposed "grindhouse" film.
Plus, it is a great watch and hugely influential. Although Coffy is pure 70's (even to the point of being campy), it is more entertaining than 90% of today's films.
