There are some some clunky moments here. Hard to imagine an emotional Marxist declaiming, "I just can't take it anymore." But don't let those moments or the long running time fool you.
This is a tour de force that tells the story not only of a man but a movement and a time. His and its corruption says a lot about where we find ourselves politically today. Several of the profiled figures are still in power.
