John Woo's best action flick, and quite possibly the best Hong Kong action movie ever made--the engaging and emotional story, the performances by Ti Lung, Leslie Cheung, including Chow Yun-Fat, as one of H.
K.'s most iconic characters in film history. This movie helped redefine the genre by replacing swords and kung fu with almighty handguns and bloody gunfights. If you grow an interest with the H.K. action genre, start off with this one.
