Not (to me) the most coherent picture of the world's best-known Slovenian philosopher; for that, I recommend The New Yorker's profile. But this is a tasty sampler, or (to change imagery) a colorful collage of text from his writings, snippets and zingers from his speeches, and glimpses of him at home and on travels.
