Review of Universal Soldier: Regeneration (2010) by Jerry C — 12 Jul 2010
A total surprise! Roland Emmerich's original 'Universal Soldier' wasn't exactly a piece of art, and I don't even mention the terrible sequels, but this plays in a whole other league.
Grim, gritty, bloody, set in snowy Tchernobyl and with excellent action scenes, shot by Peter Hyams, and directed by his son. Seeing is believing! It's Jean-Claude against Dolph Lündgren and Andrei 'The Pit Bull' Arlovski.
And it's mean!
