Review of The Woodsman (2004) by Ab A — 10 Jan 2007
I think Kevin Bacon took a real jump at playing a pedophile, but he did it well and in a sensitive way. He showed what most films don't show; him battling with his demons and trying to stop them from taking over his life, and that made it an even more amazing film .
Sedgewick was a little slack as the friend who tries to help him through it all. I just couldn't see that working. It was all Kevin Bacon, and he did it with passion and sensitivity.
