Review of The Untouchables (1987) by Stu C — 27 Nov 2010
One of my all time favourite gangster films, next to the Godfather trilogy of course & some fine acting performances from the likes of Connery, Costner & in particular De Niro as Capone himself (who can forget the baseball bat sequence... you just know it's coming yet surprise hits you almost as hard as he does every time he smacks the guy upside the head!).
It's a film I cannot recommend highly enough for those that like their gangsters vs. cops films to come with a solid story and bucketloads of action, or should that be blood?!
