Review of The ABCs of Death (2013) by Tanis M — 21 Jun 2013
A large part of the fun is guessing what word it will be. Ranges from a quaint cartoon to splatter comedy, to some really horrific and disturbing stuff. "An enormously impressive and massively indulgent cornucopia of 26 short films from all over the world." When they say "all over the world" they mean; Spain, Chile, USA, Norway, Japan, Mexico, Denmark, Thailand, Belgium, England, Serbia, Canada, France. A good variety. I hope the sequel features representatives from China, Korea, India and Africa.
If you are a fan of the directors featured, you will love it. If not, avoid.
Cattet and Forzani's style is extremely distinct their segment is straight out of Amer. I would have gone with "basura" or "bang" for B. Hound, Injection, Nok.
