A touching account of the great fictional detective's twilight days. Hard to imagine the original Victorian-era Sherlock Holmes in post-WWII England, but when you do the math it's entirely plausible.
Sir Ian McKellen is wonderful, of course, and Laura Linney shows her usual ability to completely inhabit a character.
