Review of Metallica: Through the Never (2013) by Scorpi R — 02 Oct 2013
I see the movie sequences as an entire tribute to Cliff Burton, they´re full of symbols and hints, the lyrics get a double meaning, brilliant work by Nimród Antal, maybe almost too challenging and deep for some viewers.
In the end, it´s a philosophical work about life, death, afterlife, spirit and connection among humans that goes beyond time and space - through the never, literally. Phenomenal. And oh, the concert: Breathtaking and eye-popping, brilliant! Next level: achieved.
Well done, boys.
