I don't understand all the negative comments and reviews toward this film, it was beautifully shot, directed and acted. Affleck's character is supposed to be dry and emotionless....it is part of the intrigue of his character.
The story itself is very original and hopefully close to the literature it was based on. Just because a mob movie doesn't have drugs and sex in it doesn't make it any less a film.
