Review of Highwaymen (2004) by Anand K — 12 Nov 2013
Lean psycho in a car film - Caviezel is done no favors by his (lack of) characterization but the stunts and forward momentum make this watchable in a late-night b-movie kind of way. Feels more like an episode of Twilight Zone or Tales from the Darkside stretched to 90 minutes.
Don't let the fact that Robert Harmon who directed The Hitcher get your hopes up too much. This is not nearly as tough or as good; the bad guy can't hold a candle ultimately to Hauer's John Ryder.
