Review of Heaven's Gate (1980) by Kai L — 10 Dec 2007
Michael Cimino's notorious epic about the Johnson County War is one movie which has undeservably had a bad reputation. It might be somewhat overlong and shallow at times, but it doesn't change the fact that it's an interesting film that is very much worth to give a second chance.
Kris Kristofferson and Christopher Walken are very good even if neither put one of their best performances, Jeff Bridges, John Hurt and Brad Dourif are also worth to mention.
