Review of Gregory's Girl (1980) by Lisa Michelle A — 05 Feb 2010
I first saw this when I was 13 at school for english, as we were writing an essay on it, so our teacher showed us the film. I never expected to love it as much as I did. None of my class enjoyed it but me.
I truly love this film. I remember talking about it to my teacher at the end of class and she was really pleased tnat at least one person loved it. I've since bought it on DVD and it's one of my favorites to watch, as it's a true classic.
I've seen the sequel, Gregory's Two Girls, but it doesn't quite live up to the original, as this one will always be the best. I recommend it to all, even if it's not your type of film, because it wasn't mine at all, but until I saw it I didn't truly appreciate how great a film it could be!
