This movie is mislabeled as a horror movie. It is a classic Victorian gothic romance. As a lifelong fan of that genre, it is spot on. It is well cast even in the minor roles. Tom Hiddleston is exceptional as the damaged yet sympathetic male lead.
This rare glimpse into a seldom seen movie genre is a treat for fans.
