Review of Amores Perros (2000) by Scott M — 31 Jul 2009

I had a lot of trouble watching this movie due to the subject matter. Cruelty to animals is pretty prevalent in this film, and I had to just keep thinking that it was all fake. All that said, the film is very powerful without managing to become melodramatic which is a very fine line to walk in this situation.

The main thing this movie did was make me absolutely despise Michael Vick with every fiber of my being. Anyone who does these things deserves nothing less than a slow and painful death.
